Trade   FX: EUR/USD   with Unum Capital. Previous Post (Friday 07 March): Trading EUR/USD: Ultra Short Term Overbought Strong run off the previous model reading. Now, the updated price action model reading: Previous Post (04 March): 3 Month High Previous Post (20 January): EUR/USD Attempting A Bullish Reversal Following An Aggressive Sell-Off Analyst's Price Action Model Let's break down the EUR/USD trend analysis based on the price action model: Overall Trend: Long Term: Persistently Weak But Monitor Lower Times For Rebound Potential Short-Term Trends: 7-Day Trend: Neutral 14-Day Trend: Rangebound Short-Term Trading Opportunities: No explicit short-term buy/long position opportunities are indicated in the image. Medium-Term Outlook (2 to 4 weeks): Strong Attempting At Bullish Reversal Following Aggressive Sell-Off Long-Term Outlook (5 to 8 weeks): Persistently Weak But Monitor Lower Times For Rebound Potential Summary: The EUR/USD pair is currently in a long-term downtrend. In the short term, the 7-day trend is neutral, while the 14-day trend is rangebound. There is no explicit signal for a short-term buy or long position. • Harmony Gold: Overbought & Trading Into Potential Resistance

Trade   Harmony Gold   with Unum Capital. To get started, email   lester@unum.co.za In general JSE Gold Miners have come a long way since November, with the price action model looking for a rebound on the long term time frame. I previously updated my view here: https://www.unum.capital/post/jse-gold-tuesday-04-feb Building on our previous view, the share ended Thursday's session very strong but OVERBOUGHT and into the previously discussed resistance range. As at the time of typing (Friday 21 March, 18h36), Gold is lower by 1%. Previous Post: Harmony Gold: Potential For Failure To Hold Swing Highs The long-term outlook suggests a bullish trend with buyers in control, though weakness is noted on lower timeframes, indicating a potential pullback to the 8 or 21-EMA for a buying opportunity. The medium-term also points towards an upward trend, but warns of a possible failure to hold prior session range highs, which could trigger a tactical short-sell. In the short term, the market is either in or commencing an upward trend, but similarly advises caution about potential failures to maintain prior session range highs, suggesting a possible short-sell opportunity. Should the share reach the provisional sell ranges, this could place the share in an extended position versus it's 75-day EMA! Lester Davids Analyst: Unum Capital

  • Trade Idea: Buy Glencore Plc

Trade   Glencore Plc with Unum Capital To get started, email   lester@unum.co.za This idea is based, in part, on my previous note (11 February). " Glencore Plc: Managing Risk via the Monthly Chart" Text as per the graphic below: MEDIUM TERM VIEW. HIGH RISK BUY IDEA therefore small-than-average position sizes may apply. The share has been sold off aggressively and is in a high bearish momentum regime while also approaching an oversold range. I do NOT think that THIS is the exact low (i.e. I am expecting lower levels) however, this may be a RANGE to starting building a buy/long position with the expectation that a base starts to form over the near term followed by a potential bullish reversal. Buy at current levels or lower (traders could consider starting with a 1/3 of the position). In terms of probabilities, it's possible that the share could trade down to the 7000c range (this is NOT a prediction, but merely a probability based on candle structure, momentum etc.). Note the 7000c level coincides with the previous MONTHLY CHART breakout level. As always, traders could consider the following if/when the prices approaches the target: bank/take profit, partially scale out, adjust the stop-loss to protect profits. Time stop: 03 October 2025. Trading Levels Entry: 7140c Target: 8300c Stop-loss: 6440c Previous Post: " Glencore Plc: Managing Risk via the Monthly Chart" The monthly chart is a useful, and often overlooked tool for investors and traders looking to manage risk. In 2023, our analysis highlighted 3 aspects which alerted traders to downside risk over the medium term: (1) The bearish MACD crossover (2) the channel resistance and (2) the breakdown in the 14-month RSI. At the time, clients were exposed to the following view via the monthly chart at a price of R104. (Current level = R79) Current View (Long Term): Weak and in a downward trend;   Looking to re-test the previous breakout level of R70 as per the monthly chart. Last Price: 7978c. Trade   Foschini Group/TFG   with Unum Capital. To get started, email   lester@unum.co.za This is an update on the previous post in which we highlighted the early buy readings. The re-entry ranges have been unchanged. Note the 5 to 8 week reading which is in line with the current trend i.e. recognition of aggressive selling but noting that the downward momentum is possibly slowing. It also alerts us to look for support on the 21 or 50-month EMA. Previous Post (Friday 07 March) Buy Idea: GET READY to trade. A +27% pullback off it's early December peak. Early buy readings places the share on the watchlist, with provisional manual levels (ranges) highlighted. Lester Davids Analyst: Unum Capital
